CMomA Journey Mission
- To travel to places on earth where children lack the optimal resources to thrive.
- To be in service of orphaned and abandoned children in need.
- To experience organic connections with a child or sibling group and explore how we may stay connected to these children through formal adoption, hosting, or sponsorship.
In early 2015, we took our first CMomA Journey—to Peru, and again in June of 2017, eight CMomA journeyers returned to the Sacred Land of Peru to visit the children and teens of Ninos del Sol, a group home for children and teens, once again. It was 10 days of seeing sacred sites and spending quality time with the children, many of which are orphaned and abandoned who grew up in Ninos del Sol, formerly Casa de Milagros.
Both were magical, meaningful and mutually blessed experience. Check out these brief slide show videos to take a look some of the highlights:
Our CmomA Journey’s aim is not to take children away from their homelands, but rather to provide additional support toward physical, emotional, and educational needs.Childless individuals and couples interested in participating in a CMomA Journey can submit an application (this link downloads an MS Word file). Selection criteria will be based on written questionnaires, personal interviews and referrals.
